Angela is a change champion committed to supporting Girl Effect's journey to become a more inclusive and representative organisation. As Head of Transformation and Inclusion, she leads on Girl Effect's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) agenda and activities, facilitating discussions and interventions from a Governance, Leadership, Project, Employee and External Stakeholder perspective. In addition, Angie is tasked with efforts to assess, review and redesign our approach to power, leadership and decision making both within the organisation and in our external interactions. Given her extensive background in talent strategy Angela works closely with the People function to ensure our employee experience and culture align to our Vision, Mission & Values, Strategy and DEI best practice.
Previously, Angela served as the Africa Talent Manager at Dalberg Advisors, where she played a key role in various DEI efforts within the organisation. She was directly responsible for talent, culture, coaching and employee engagement initiatives across the 10 offices on the continent and supported global initiatives. Other positions held include Seven Seas Technologies, where she served as the Chief Talent Officer, PricewaterhouseCoopers as a People & Change Consultant and Mars Canada as a Personnel & Organisation Associate. She is also the Founder of Triple Bottom Line Associates - a boutique firm providing coaching, talent strategy and diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) advisory services to organisations, leaders and individuals across the African Continent.
