Ime Archibong is the Head of New Product Experimentation at Facebook. He is responsible for leading a portfolio of diverse entrepreneurial teams focused on rapid product experimentation. Their goal is to build new products that meaningfully improve people’s lives, and give them power in qualitatively new ways.
Ime most recently served as Facebook’s Vice President of Product Partnerships, where he built the global team that manages strategic partnerships aligned with Facebook’s mission, product and business strategy. This included developers, community leaders, and nonprofits.
Ime’s career began at IBM as a software engineer in the Systems and Technology Group. He then transitioned to the corporate strategy team that laid the foundation for the Smarter Cities initiative, and concluded his time on the Advanced Technology Business Development team, working on the future of storage.
He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Yale University where he captained the basketball team, and received the Roosevelt L. Thompson Prize, awarded to a graduate for exemplifying great human warmth, a commitment to fairness, compassion for all people, and the promise of moral leadership. Ime also has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he served as class president.
